Aiteria Kaufman, RMHC, is a registered mental health counseling intern. She works closely with the Heath Counseling and Consultation Services team, providing patients with the best care possible.
Aiteria is a compassionate believer, wife, mother, and friend. She served active duty in the United States Navy for four years, where she worked as a mental health tech working with active duty and military veterans in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Aiteria graduated from American Military University in Charles Town, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She furthered her education at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida, earning a Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling.
Aiteria is a nationally board-certified counselor and a chapter member of the Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International of Chi Sigma Iota.
She has over six years of experience working with a diverse population. Aiteria's approach as a counselor is to help guide and empower clients to realize they’re the experts in their lives. She values and believes in the importance of a strong support system to increase the desired level of functioning.
Aiteria strives to provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment for her clients to find comfort in presenting their most vulnerable selves to promote healing.
